Watching True Romance, one of the greatest crime movies of all time.

Its central murder scene (of which this screencap is a part) is unforgivingly brutal and, I think, as scary as any scene in any movie in any decade. But really this flick is just a string of the best fucking action scenes ever committed to celluloid.

If by some whalefall of unfortunate circumstance, you like crime movies but haven’t seen this brilliant film, see the director’s cut. It’s like being hit in the face repeatedly with a mallet made of WIN.

R.I.P., Tony Scott, a genius who went before his time.
